As part of the Peace and Reconciliation process in Ireland, the governments of the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom have provided funding for many cross community and cultural events. The Monreagh Heritage Centre in Carrigans, Co. Donegal availed of this initiative and approached me with the idea of creating a one-room installation highlighting the Laggan Valley War in the 1600s. Part of this installation was the creation of a Laggan Valley map which now hangs in the entrance of the Centre.
